Mutual Funds vs ETFs: Expense Ratios and Cost Structures The financial impact of expense ratios distinguishes mutual funds from ETFs in measurable ways. Index mutual funds typically charge between 0.03% and 0.20% annually, while actively managed mutual funds range from 0.50% to 1.50% or higher. ETFs generally offer lower expense ratios, with many index-based ETFs charging between 0.03% and 0.25%. A $50,000 investment in a fund charging 0.10% costs $50 annually, while the same amount in a fund charging 1.00% costs $500.

Index Funds vs. Actively Managed Funds: Which Is Better?
Index Funds vs. Actively Managed Funds: A Structural Comparison Index funds and actively managed funds represent two distinct philosophies of portfolio construction. An index fund replicates a market benchmark—such as the S&P 500, the FTSE All-World, or the Bloomberg U.S. Aggregate Bond Index—by holding the same securities in roughly the same proportions. An actively managed fund employs portfolio managers, analysts, and traders who select securities, time purchases and sales, and adjust sector weights in an attempt to outperform a benchmark.

I think Pep is one of the most overrated things about modern football. Handed a ready made globally competitive team by Frank Rijkard at Barca then managed the team that can outprice everyone else in Germany and handed unlimited funds at Man City. Go manage Derby County and see how you get on.
I hate Manchester United, like most people.

But it is curious how Manchester City couldn't even get close to the, long lost, glory days of Manchester United even with unlimited cheating.

Yet people rate Pep Guardiola above Alex Ferguson as a manager.

Very strange.

Not a done deal: support needed. Some of the land is already secured. The Wildlife Trusts are doing amazing work to raise funds to secure the rest. Otherwise the risk is multiple buyers, the landholding broken up and managed for profit. Details in the @northwildlife.bsky.social post we reposted 🐝

Federal government funds do not belong to the majority party. The funds belong to the entire country, managed by Congress.

And then there's the bribe again...

Someone want to tell him?
Of course not.
Trump: "Because of tariffs, we are taking in hundreds of billions of dollars of profits. It's one of the reasons I can offer, if Republicans win the House and Senate, $5,000 to every adult. We can do it and the Democrats can't, because the Democrats don't have any income."
