Manatear Comic – Chapter 3 Wayfinder – Page 81 – By Adalore This scene is focused on a giant spider (anthro) dealing with the tiny fox plush. Panel 1 – the spider looks behind themselves, looking at the end of their end of their abdomen with the fox wiggling back and forth like an attached lamprey. Panel 2 – Zoom in on the fox wiggling back and forth. Panel 2 – She looks around, pointing the sword around seeking another target. “Who’s next?! Step up!!” Panel 3 – the adrenaline subsides, the rage falling into an exhausted daze. The sword massive in her grip, gear looking vastly oversized…stitches forming on her cheek – “That’s… that’s right!” “None of …you… frffhh.” Panel 4 – The encroaching transformation finishes leaving her small and diminutive surrounding by the majority of her gear that did not change with her. Now a plush animal she drops her now oversized sword that is more than double her size. “…ah?” and realization catches up with her “…oh.”

December is talking to Chaujen in Panel 2, Chaujen is assessing his situation but it is mostly neutral about the situation. He looks at his big mitt hand. December: “I…I… I turned you into a plush!” Chaujen: “Yeah? Appears to be true.” December: “Are you mad?” Chaujen: “Why would I be mad?” Panel 3 – December breaking into a weeping cry – December: “B-because I…I Hurt you by changing you!” Chaujen: “December calm down.” Panel 4 – Chaujen places a hand over December to try and give her head pats. December looks up bewildered tears in her eyes. Panel – 1 The giant anthro spider is reaching through the bramble down to the tiny December who is backup against the tree at the ground level. Her voice box chirping a “Will you be my friend?” Panel – 2 The spider’s hand squishes down December with a rubber duck symbol as sound effect. Panel – 3 December is being lifted up out of her hidey space. Her voice box triggered declaring “Give me a big hug!” Panel – 4 Triumphantly the spider looks at the tiny December. There is a tiny “Oh” coming off of December. Panel – 5 This panel has black and white dramatic silhouette of a familiar form leaping into the fray. Panel – 6 A dramatic munch with a matched agonized expression from the spider, in brain shattering pain. Panel – 7 Wide shot of the spider scrunching in pain, letting December go in a wide arc towards a tree.
