#mapoli's
Kraft is uninformed, uninspiring, and unquestionably unfit to be mayor of #mapoli’s Boston.
ICYMI: Three months his campaign, Josh Kraft finally revealed his plans to manage impacts of climate change.

1. Employ climate tracking technology.
2. Retrofit appliances.
3. Create a climate equity committee.

Posh Kraft: blocking bus lanes, blocking access, blocking progress in #mapoli's Boston -

The T’s persistent reluctance to advance rail electrification beyond performative baby steps is not in #mapoli’s best interests
And because of that, Caltrain can offer 25% faster travel times, and 20% more service, with the same number of trains as before.

You know #mapoli's @mbta.com isn't serious about Regional Rail when they propose spending over $150 million on new dirty diesel locomotives. Does @govmaurahealey.bsky.social @kimdriscollma.bsky.social think this is consistent with their stated climate goals? Talk is cheap.

Excellent news - this project is long overdue. I began the effort in earnest in 2009; now looking forward to @wutrain.bsky.social getting it done. Bus riders on some of #mapoli’s busiest routes will have better access to opportunities and resources.

This is the Trumpian future Posh Kraft hopes to bring to #mapoli’s Boston

Oh @mayorwu.boston.gov @wutrain.bsky.social is so good. She’s the strong, principled leader with a moral core that #mapoli’s Noston needs more than ever before.
"If you wanted to make us safe, pass gun reforms. Stop cutting medicaid. Stop cutting cancer research. Stop cutting funds for veterans. That is what will make our city safe."

Exactly. The utter contempt that Kraft holds #mapoli’s Boston in is demonstrated by their cheap & absurd offer of “mitigation”
Crony capitalist Bob Kraft — more comfortable sidelining Boston mayors while cutting backroom deals than good faith engagement (see Southie history, Menino and Massport) — wants to drop a measly $750k on Boston ballfields.

Get back to me with $25 million for public transit investments.

Interesting how #mapoli's @MBTA won't ever publicly advocate for dedicated bus lanes, but it announces stuff like this today:

If #mapoli's Josh Kraft wanted to help the people of Boston, he'd start by abandoning his campaign platform that will make our streets less safe for kids, seniors & everyone in between. #bospoli wants, deserves & needs a vibrant, inclusive future that Kraft will not provide.

In which a Boston City Councilor’s own words make crystal clear that she is more concerned about removing evidence of tactical urbanism than she is about bike safety or traffic enforcement (car ran a red light). That’s #mapoli’s Erin Murphy for you.

Sorry to hear that @wbur.org is dropping Radio Boston. The show has been an important contribution to civil discourse and topical issues in #mapoli’s Greater Boston.

If you live in #mapoli's Second Middlesex District, I heartily recommend that you consider voting for Burhan Azeem @burhanazeem.bsky.social for State Senate. Burhan is the most talented & impactful young leader I've met in a very long time: smart, creative & knows how to get things done.

What’s painfully obvious in this clip: a candidate out of his depth & unfit for office. This happens when political puppeteers put up a Trojan Horse to help them regain power. #mapoli’s Boston can see this plainly.

In response to reporting from #mapoli's Katie Lannan: let's be clear, there is no "new way to fund" a gas tax giveaway. All the governor is doing in her proposal is taking much-needed resources away from worthy transportation needs. There is nothing "net new" about this.

Unlike #mapoli’s MBTA, Chicago’s CTA is able to share its good news because CTA actually posts here. The T saves its posts to help empower Elon & Mark.
At the start of service on Sunday, August 17, four more bus routes will operate as part of the Frequent Network.

This is great stuff & terrific communications & engagement from WMATA. In the meantime #mapoli’s @mbta.bsky.social remains silent on this platform. @govhealey.bsky.social

Our teams are on standby to respond quickly to weather-related issues so service can be restored. Frigid temps can make our tracks more vulnerable to cracks. As the cold sets in, rails shift & become brittle. Demond Lyles, our Sr. Director of Track & Structure Maint., explains. #wmata

If #mapoli’s Josh Kraft thinks it’s ok to support right wing extremists who would deprive many Bostonians of their basic human rights, simply because he likes their views on Israel, he’s unfit to lead this great city.
Kraft has contributed to extremist Republicans including Rep.Bob Latta who supported a constitutional ban on same-sex marriage; Rep. Mike Bost, who voted against marriage equality; Rep. Buddy Carter, who sponsored the Sanctity of Human Life Act, which protects life from conception w/no exceptions.

Right now, I know more about Mike Vrabel’s take on the Patriots than I do about Kraft’s take on Boston.

Can #mapoli’s @mbta.com run a disruption free subway service on the hottest day of the year? We will find out.

For #mapoli’s Boston to survive & thrive over the next 4 years we need @mayorwu.boston.gov @wutrain.bsky.social at the helm, guiding the city with a principled & inclusive approach to governing.
If Republicans in Congress want to help make our country safe, I have some ideas for them.

Restless night’s sleep last night. Dreamt that #mapoli’s Josh Kraft was ending his mayoral campaign to revive his vaudeville career w/a new act, “Two Tired Crooners”. Venue TBD. Boston Policy Institute was hired to help analyze ticket sales. Special discounts for patrons arriving by bike.

Kraft has no plan to reduce traffic congestion in #mapoli’s Boston, no plan to improve access to jobs or opportunities or resources. His plan is to deprive people of their mode choice. Does he even talk about transportation policy with his chauffeur? He might learn something.
May 15, 2025 at 11:52 PM
Don't show this to #mapoli's Josh Kraft. His transportation platform is centered on making Boston streets less safe for kids, seniors and everyone in between.
