Me aged 12 (1989) and my brother (17). Holding my sister’s friend’s Gameboy before it was released outside Japan. He had Marioland and Tetris. I was hooked. We would get them for Christmas the following year I guess, and stay up all Christmas night with a link cable playing Tetris.

It's not actually a country #Mario rules but an #AmusementPark.
Fake Castle in the middle, a Water Park, a simulation of Outer Space. The Giant Statue with moving parts. A Halloween themed area.
