Siracusa is another city to think about, history, by the sea, tiny streets. The island of Favignana to the west is possibly the nicest place I’ve been to, chilled, beaches, cycle about, easy by ferry from Trapani. Plenty more - Ragusa, Modica, Noto, Catania, Mazara, Marsala, Erice etc
