Although I've done a lot of coding before, it's all been inside Matlab, where you don't have to worry about anything except basically writing lines that do things to numbers. Memory, file structure, where everything sits... none of that was an issue. So I don't know what I'm doing with this at all

I write a lot of python when I'm doing anything by hand specifically because the major scientific computing libraries comport with the Matlab documentation (which is the best place to start in any hard problem)
