I'm like that with MaxNat. I don't really feel any connection to any of their characters/series but I watch it cos I ship the RPF (not in an I-believe-it's-actually-real way, in an I-read-fic-of-that way)

I'm kind of indifferent on MaxNat.
I like them fine, I guess.
The latest show is boring as hell. Not even your writeup made me wanna go watch another episode. Same with the body switch one.
I liked Naughty Babe for the dad's delivery of the line always taking Dao (?) side.

I'd be here for it. I feel like age gap kinda-pet-play is something MaxNat basically do in most things they're in 😂

It's kinda incomprehensible to me how they try to downplay the age gap in many MaxNat series, like in Your Third when Sarm says he's "nearly 30" and Jam talks about being 24... like don't the people writing these shows understand that this is their selling point???

So many people enjoyed it! I should give it another go and try to get past the first few episodes tbh. They are so pretty, and that can absolutely be enough. For instance I have watched so many MaxNat series that were not at all my thing purely because of the MaxNat of it all 😂

The Servant Prince, a JBL that's gorgeously made with a soft D/s dynamic that's very tender and mutually healthy and supportive (sub!top is one of my fav things everrrr and it's so rare)
Your Third, a MaxNat comedy that's very light and cute.

i binged eps 5-12 of your third yesterday. i’m quite fond of maxnat. that, plus the whole thing where they promoted the series walking around with a handmade sign? i really, really wanted to like it but… sigh. it’s not them at all; i just wish they got a better plot. i have so many thoughts. 😔

RIGHT? i stopped it and tried to get back into it last week, love zeenunew and maxnat but i had NO clue what was going on(and watched a full ep! i dont care about anyone !) appreciate the sex scenes are great, but i could NOT tell you the plot

I guess the endpoint of this, then, is less "somebody needs to give MaxNat a decent show, for crying out loud," than it's "somebody get MaxNat away from that terrible director, for crying out loud." Just put them in touch with Aof, please, for the love of all that's holy. They deserve better.
