Messerschmitt 410 TF209 was captured in November 1943 at Monte Corvino airfield in Italy after a crew from 2(F)/122 got lost on the return leg of a reconnaissance sortie. It was shipped to Britain and underwent extensive testing.

ジェット機よりは稼働率が高くて行動半径が大きくて、同じDB603双発のMe410やHe219より速くて、敵戦闘機を突破して戦術目標に500Kg爆弾を落として帰ってこれる可能性の高い機体。だけど言ってしまえば「それだけ」だと思ってもいます。
Do335 Pfeil、大戦末期の高性能機体。なんだけどほんとにそうなのか(^^)。串型配置エンジンで成功するのはかなり難しそう。ドイツ製というだけで3割増くらいに思いますよね。
以前アイドルグループの衣装が「ナチスを想起させる」ということで変更されたことがありました。ナチスは残虐性だけでなく、見た目のカッコ良さが怖い。真似したくなる人はいまだに世界中に多い。それが排外主義と結ぶと大変、と一般論を言ってみたり。
学生時代、私もモッズコートを着てたりしたなあ。あれは若いからできたことだなあ(^^)。

For those who read my post on 1426 Flight last week, Airfix have just announced that their Club members will receive the Me410 from mid-January. It’s the correct photo recon variant, supplied with decals for both the Luftwaffe scheme when captured and the RAF version.

It just arrived ! Hobbycraft have a buy two get one free deal on airfix kits with money back vouchers on the club card. Which basically gets me a couple of pots of paint for free as well. An Me410 and a Blenheim retooled kits may have fallen into my basket as well. Have a good day mate 🫡

As WW2 dragged through 1944 into 1945 the mass of American fighters & bombers swamped the luftwaffe.
Even jet ME262s could achieve little. The ME110 & ME410 were not viable at all.
The Luftwaffe could not win a battle of attrition with insufficient planes or pilots.
