First model of my Clan Hells Horses, Omega Galaxy, Arctic Cheetah! Tried to give more focus on shadows and highlights, still have some work, but I think there's improvement!

On the one hand I got my new Pillowcube and slept the best I have in a few months last night and woke up with no neck or back pain. On the other I just realized I didn't submit my MechaMay entry on Baselair correctly because the tag does not sign you up for the contest; they are two different things

With mere minutes to spare! I managed to finish this HG Leo #Gunpla for #MechaMay. This was my first time painting a #Gundam and it was quite enjoyable!

I experimented with a more colorful, 80's Synthwave inspired aesthetic. How do you think it turned out?

So, this WAS going to be my #MechaMay model, but I didn't feel I had the time to get it done and try and make it as good as my actual submission.

Based on the Mechwarrior miniatures model of Katsuro Sutoku's Shiro, with some liberties taken

Trench Crusade Shrine Anchorite is complete after final basing touches. Just barely squeaking in there for #mechamay. #trenchcrusadd
A large humanoid robot adorned in haphazard crosses and skulls of saints. It stands on a base decorated with grey earth, stones, and dead branches. It carries a mace and a Catherine Wheel, both bloody and rusty. It has three layers of color, a tarnished metallic silver, a dusty lighter pink, and a dusty, white tinged with a slight green. Holes from bullets are scattered across its body leaking oil as if blood was flowing from a human body, hinting at the horror within and the strong faith of the believer inside that this machine is now an extension of their body. The same machine from behind, showing the chains hanging from the pauldrons and the statue tied to the back with rope. The same machine from the left side, giving a better glimpse at the poor soul strapped to the Cathrine Wheel. They have been dead for days, their skin pale from loss of blood and turning green from rot. They are due to be replaced. The same machine from the right, giving a better view of the mace. It has light rust all over it as it is a simple tool which does not need to be disturbed and cleaned. It has dripped blood on the ground from a fresh kill.

The (mostly) finished Northwind Highlander BattleMech, made some a converted Heavy Gear Kodiak Mech. The Scottish Flag carried by the BattleMech. The crest of the BattleMech shows a Kelpie giving the Mech its name, "Kelpie's Glare" The symbol of the company, a battleaxe over a Green and Tan Tartan.

It's been a hectic week, and I had to pick this one as I don't have the time I need for the scope of doing the Shiro from where I had it.

However...

This was originally my best model I've ever painted, imo. I challenged myself to make it even better.

I think I succeeded.

Finally managed to get down the tartan pattern on the mech. I'll need to do some final touch-ups and details and maybe some highlights on the tartan but I'm quite happy with how it turned out.

Really happy with how this turned out. I got to play with a lot of new paints and materials for the first time painting this Cerastus Knight Castigator. What do you think? It took a little over 8 hours to paint.
