For this experiment, a month's worth of Bluesky posts (April 10th - May 10th 2025) containing links to sites rated by MediaBiasFactCheck were downloaded and labeled with their MediaBiasFactCheck ratings. Official feeds of included news organizations were removed from the dataset.

That is my entire experience with ChatGPT. It also cites right wing sources that are rated near zero credibility with mediabiasfactcheck. And it just flat out cites a source with quotes that do not exist.
I am hoping that by adding my (crazed) feedback when it does this, it is helping retrain it.

Overall, Bluesky users linked sources with High factual reporting ratings more than any other category (62.9% of links). Dubious sources (Mixed/Low/Very Low) made up 16.9% of the volume. New accounts shared bad sources more often (25.4% of links from accounts under 30 days old).

If I want news I go directly to AP or Reuters. The vast majority of smaller outlets pull stories from the two of them and repurpose them, anyway, and MediaBiasFactCheck ranks them both in the "Least Biased" and "Factual" reporting categories.
