#medsky’s
Some of my previous thoughts on medsky's use of the word recovered.
How many long term sequelae are required before terms like "even after recovery" isn't an appropriate way of describing a disease?
"COVID-19 May Quietly Weaken Bones Long After Recovery"

Researchers warn COVID-19 may have effects beyond the lungs, heart and immune system. A new review suggests infection may cause lasting bone damage, increasing the risk of weaker bones, fractures and impaired bone repair—even after recovery.

...and not the floor for medsky's droplets.

"From October 2023 to August 2024, SARS-CoV-2 was detected by PCR in 98.3% of air samples and influenza A in 17.2%."

I want Medsky's opinion on the new season of the Pitt. It's early but signs point to enshittification. The key problem is that Langdon comes back. He stole meds from patients. I don't see how he would never return to that hospital. Yes, he does rehab and resumes residency, but, he can't go back.

This account and the feed it supports were started prior to Medsky and all their fantastic feeds. It's time to transition to Medsky's #PedSky feed linked below..

Please like and Pin Medsky's Pediatrics feed and share with others. See this thread for more details! bsky.app/profile/did:...

A recurring problem I was mostly unaware of until watching medsky's response to SARS-CoV-2.

I naively thought lessons would have been learned post SARS Commission.

Then I watched WHO and CDC declare CoVID-19 wasn't airborne in 2020 while also not trying to prevent asymptomatic transmission.
Lots of factors will be playing into this problem however one of the issues with not acknowledging the airborne route of transmission is that finding chains of transmission becomes harder.

If this is the only post you're seeing on the Medsky Feeds, your access has been restricted due to violating Medsky's Community Guidelines.

Crazy idea but what if verified badges were based not just in the appview but also the PDS you’re hosted on.

For example, if you’re hosted on Medsky’s PDS but logged on the Bluesky app, you see verification badges from trusted verifiers from both the PDS and the app view.

Sorry for not responding sooner! The plan is to monitor with the Medsky misinformation blocklists so that anyone who violates Medsky's community guidelines will have their handle removed.

I also see anyone who adds a handle so easy to monitor that way.

Hey #Medsky! We're introducing a new form for users to submit feedback to help improve Medsky's algorithms.

Any and all feedback is welcome. Want to suggest hashtags for a specialty feed? Want to see more specific content? Submit to this form and help us build Medsky together.
We're introducing a new feedback system for the #Medsky feeds! Is there something you wish worked differently? Do you have suggestions for how to improve our feeds?

Fill out the Medsky Feeds Feedback form and make your voice heard!

PLEASE READ: This is a form to submit feedback regarding the algorithms for the Medsky Network. This is NOT a feedback form for the Medsky labeler, please follow this link if you are requesting new me...

Continuing updates to the @medsky.social feeds. The #Hemesky / #Oncsky feed has migrated to @graze.social.

You can now use Medsky's heme/onc labels to have your content included on the feed. And like all the other #Medsky feeds there's blocklists for medical misinformation.

Hey #Medsky and #Endosky! Medsky's Endocrinology feed now has label support! All you have to do use subscribe to @medsky.social and apply the Endocrinology or Peds Endocrinology label to get your posts sent to this feed!
November 22, 2024 at 11:30 PM
Welcome to Medsky! A great way to start is by subscribing to @medsky.social and getting a specialty label for your account, this not only lets other people see your medical specialty but it helps add your posts to specialty feeds that use Medsky’s curation lists!
November 22, 2024 at 5:43 AM
Users harrassing with the Medsky hashtag will be added to the block lists used by @medsky.social. These lists are also integrated into Medsky’s algorithm, so if they’re added to the antivax/med misinfo, anti-abortion, or general Medsky block list they won’t show up on any of my medicine feeds.
November 19, 2024 at 12:07 AM
It appears @skyfeed.app is experiencing some technical difficulties so @medsky.social's feeds are having some unscheduled downtime.

In the meantime, you can still use/pin any of Medsky's curation lists to follow people with the Medsky labels.
November 16, 2024 at 8:53 PM
No worries! I mentioned in another post these feeds will be structured around Medsky’s labeling system, anyone with the ID label will have posts sent to the feed - rather than depend on hashtags.

Not a replacement for the feeds already made, but I want to make sure this resource is available.

Slowly updating the @medsky.social labeler and feed resource. We now have a new Family Medicine feed, my old feed will now be found directly on Medsky's account.

If you're a Family Medicine doctor pin this feed to your skyline and join the #FMRevolution!

Is this nhs wide?

What are #medsky’s thoughts?
