3 characters are shown, Ken being on the left side, Melancholy being in the middle, and the Angel mother being to the right. Melancholy is in the center of the canvas, holding the baby Angel in her hands. Her nose is bleeding black blood, and her blood connects/morphs into the pupil of the baby Angel's eye. She looks scared. The background behind her is dark olive green, with it fading into black. There are air bubbles floating up with faint rainbow shines, and the chain-hook (shown at the end of the pilot) is weaving through the background. Both Ken and the Angel mother are monochromatic blue, with their eyes and teeth only being white. They are overlaid with blue halftones, and their backgrounds are solid red that fades to black towards the top. Ken is framed as a bust-shot, he is sticking up a middle finger at the Angel mother. He has a gash along his face with the purple blood being solid (no half tones on it). Angel mother is scrunched up, with her hands and fingers flexed(?). She is shown with the broken halo and knife in her head, her black blood runs down her face. Above everyone, the words "BLACK BLOOD" is conforming to the top part of the canvas and Melancholy's head. It is solid red with fading black halftones.
