yes meliadoul or w/e lol. i am only vaguely recalling how things are sequenced. and gameplay wise she's *strictly* worse than orlandu who has every single one of her abilities, and agrias', and some others that are inaccessible otherwise, so it's like.. 'what are you even here for'

And yes, that's Meliadoul for FFT. She's a very minor character relative to all the playable NPCs, even the side quest ones get more story than her... but I liked what little she had love a good green motif tragic knight who realizes the whole religion they fought for was a horrible lie.

fun fact about me, I actually like to think Ramza and Meliadoul become romantically involved after the events of FFT but I definitely think they spend most of the game itself pretty sexually inept

folmarv is competent but won't make anything amazing. isilud is much like zalbaag in that he needs direction (though instead of consistently underseasoning and overcooking, isilud's results are Unpredictable). fortunately, meliadoul is not dycedarg. she's

i forgot to finish this one but i think most of the cooking in house tengille falls to meliadoul. she's got skills. the one thing i think she'd be bad at is baking

Red Badfakename has kind of tracked through jobs like in FFTactics, picking up levels throughout to unlock jobs - while currently (and probably as long as I play) a Red Mage, her final Job Promotion is intended to be Sword Saint, a la, Meliadoul/TG Cid

Meliadoul is the character i would LOVE to see get more screen time since she was such a late game recruit. She kicked so much ass-- especially when her breaks were maxed. I like what they added for her and the other Templars in War of the Lions.

Beowulf has NO added dialogue with any of the ch4 church NPCs so I'll be taking Mustadio, Meliadoul, and Agrias in just to trigger dialogue lines.

Actually I think Ajora was also corrupted by the Lucavi-- i'm not here to argue but belias extra lines fit into a lot of extra lines added in final battle if you have meliadoul and agrias, i dont think Wiegraf was changed all that much. Tweaked yes but still at core same to me

Yeah, My old view of the Ivalice was women fighters were the norm, legitimately 50% fightig force just based on enemy encounters but it seems that higher military positions were always closed off? With IC version new lore and dialogue its clear Agrias and Meliadoul being exceptions to the norm. 🫠

I tried to put off Orbonne spelunking because I don't want this game to end!!! But I got too curious about Loffrey/Cletienne and dove in after Meliadoul learned all her skills. Gosh the added dialogue with her and thesd lieutenants is a LOT and gives the Folmarv sect some much needed context

Said 4 units being Reis, Cloud, TG Cid, and Meliadoul (who I just got). Once they're done, there's no more grinding, only fighting for Midlight Deep (Deep Dungeon) and the remaining story stuff. I'm nearing the finish line.
