Yes, I could have added other bits to it like Worcestershire sauce but I like the taste of cheese on its own so happy with plain ☺️. #cheese #meltedcheese

@meltedcheese Considering the person it was riding stomped on it when it fell off his neck...I'd say no.

Very weird situation. Lol.

@meltedcheese Moderately dry. Dew point is 11 C/52 F, relative humidity 38% at 10:30 pm. Heat wave in early September dew point 19 C/66 F, humidity 80% at night

@meltedcheese Well...more of a large specimen of the common species here. I'd estimate 6 inches, which is about the largest I've seen in Hawaii.

Not quite pre-historic sized...(thankfully)

Nope. Gorbachev was one of the few leaders of any persuasion to voluntarily give up power. It just doesn’t happen. But most Americans get their history from TV shows and social media. They have few frames of reference for anything happening to us.

I’ve read quite a few different commentary on the amount of outstanding debt this build pipeline has racked up. It’s somewhere north of $2 trillion but I’ve also heard some put the total tab at three.

@meltedcheese @brianvastag I forward a single port on my firewall back to my Plex server. Authentication still happens on the Plex servers, but then my family has authorization to connect to my server.

@meltedcheese Yep I know about Eliza and sure it makes sense that people respond to these systems in an emotional way but ...there's nothing but code on the other end. Seems like a poor substitute for human empathy.

@meltedcheese the depiction of the wet bulb catastrophe in Ministry for the Future was one of the best, and most harrowing, things that I have ever read. It opened my eyes to how horrific such an event will be. @ai6yr

@meltedcheese I think if you need to redefine consciousness to make the answer ‘yes’, then it’s a no.

Like, in terms of philosophical rigour, sure, you might be right that we don’t have a clear definition.

@meltedcheese what is the mirror life going to eat while it reproduces enough to be a problem? Mirror nutrients and sugars are hard to come by on earth

@meltedcheese I agree with what you wrote and I expect to boost your message later today.
Why would Donald Trump do this? Because Putin hates the United States and Trump is Putin's Puppet. This also explains Trump's hostility to Ukraine, Canada, and Greenland.

@meltedcheese @LoganFive Thanks for listening. I will get a longer clip from somewhere.

@meltedcheese As a socialist with a history degree I agree 100% with your point about mistreatment of workers. Arguably the “AI” fad is the latest stage of exploitation; even if it isn’t, I don’t think that it can lead to a better situation for workers in general.

On which point I also note […]

@meltedcheese Well, for a start we certainly shouldn’t be trusting its own output to make that determination; we already well know that it can produce what appear to be statements about itself that do not reflect reality.

If it *was* conscious, that might have significant implications — not […]
