This #MemberMonday, we honor Pjerin Kita of Worcester, MA Branch 12. Spotting smoke on his route, he soon discovered a house fire had developed from a burning trash bin. Pjerin helped the sisters who lived there douse flames until firefighters arrived, saving their lives and their home.

After 40 years with the Postal Service, Andre Laliberte's neighbors ensured he retired with a proper send-off! Laliberte's customers, who knew him well after 38 years of walking the same 11-mile route, lined the road with signs expressing gratitude for his years of service. #MemberMonday

While delivering his route, Marrero, LA Branch 4323 member Freddie Warren IV heard a fight break out between two of his customers' dogs followed by screams. Warren came to the aid of the homeowner trying to separate the dogs, and helped get her dog safely inside. #MemberMonday

Galesburg, IL Branch 88 carrier Amanda Schneider was delivering mail when she noticed an open screen door at the home of an elderly couple. Her customer had fallen and was unable to get up. With the help of a neighbor, Schneider got the woman back to her chair uninjured. #MemberMonday
