memlab - analyzes JavaScript heap and finds memory leaks in browser and node.js

Main use-case seems to be for browser leak checking, but looks simple to use and you can integrate into CI, plus a nice CLI.

New MemLab publication led by Will Duckett finds that only trial-by-trial measures reveal links between subjectively experienced vividness and objective memory accuracy in younger and older adults, and people with aphantasia www.sciencedirect.com/science/arti...

The Cambridge Alumni Magazine wanted to find out what a few MemLab researchers are up to. Read about Martha McGill, Will Duckett and Julia Maybury and their fascinating research in this article from the latest issue.
Remember this...
Memory is strange: sometimes crystal clear on people and places we came across years ago, often much more cloudy on things that happened just last week.

Bun v1.2 is awesome 🤯 in 60 lines of code we automate memory leak detection for our Design System.

This just need a single dependency 🚀

```
"dependencies": {
"@memlab/api": "^1.0.38"
}
```

Really excited to be open sourcing MemLab today (a framework for detecting and diagnosing JavaScript memory leaks). If you work with complex client-side web apps you should check it out. At Meta we've used it to optimize React&Relay + reduce browser crashes by 50%! https://t.co/Ir9NKgjimf

Tomorrow I'll talk about memory leaks on SSR apps (Nuxt/Node).

I recorded demo of memlab, clinic.js, even Claude Code with skills memory-leak-debugging.

Do you have any other idea? 👀

BTW if you have anything to share about it or if you want me to give a try to something do not hesitate.

I plan to test: chrome inspect, memlab and maybe clinic.

And this is a trap 🥰 haha 😈

Not at all, no trap here 🫶

I'm currently playing with memlab, so far...no result 😆 my laptop is about to burn.

メタ社のmemlabで、ブラウザ上のメモリリークを検出してみた。
facebook.github.io/memlab/
