I actually remember how I discovered Precure
I was up early and I turned on the TV, Rai 2 was on and I remember the Toei Animation logo playing, so I thought "oh neat that's Digimon!!" but instead I was greeted by Nagisa and Honoka fighting in this pile of rubble and Mipple / Mepple looking worried

It's missing 2000s Italian tv time again...
(mostly cuz I remembered posting this lol)
I mean I always miss 2000s Italian TV, the only channel that keeps that spirit is Italia 2 but that's just not the same...
And I didn't watch a lot of Precure growing up cause it came very early in the morning lol

Futari wa Pretty Cure / Precure Italian promo aired on Rai 2 in 2005
The show originally premiered in the afternoon but it was moved to an early morning timeslot soon after

Nagisa played by Margot Robbie: "Yeah and we look reaaaal Pretty doing it."
Mepple voiced by Chris Pratt: "Futari wa."

Random idea... Chloe creating a magic familiar that helps her out. For some reason it looks like a tiny version of Gawain and speaks like tomoseki while voicing mepple in pretty cure...

let me correct myself. moop and foop are good. flappy and choppy are okay and kind of watered down to where we get “what if mepple was cucked“ as an end result

Chiffon was annoying at best but Tarte more than made up for it; I don't remember the one from Idol Precure almost at all, and Mipple and Mepple were almost as annoying as Pollun, which is an *acomplishment.*

I can appreciate to a degree a mascot character who's kind of a selfish brat, but so far Mepple is a bit...much?
Maybe it would work better watching week to week, but watching episodes so close together he's kinda grating tbh...

Mahou Tsukai Precure is interesting because it's like Futari Wa except without pollun, mipple or mepple.
