Your regular reminder that Merchbar is a scam.
The thing that pisses me off about John Hecker and his Merchbar scam is that if a brick & mortar store routinely took customers' money and didn't actually deliver the goods it sold, everyone would understand them to be fraudsters, not a "tech platform" whose "business model didn't work."

John Hecker of the notorious scam site Merchbar is now sending out mass emails seeking "investors" for his new scam "Merchagogo"
on the one hand, "please give me $100 in exchange for no merch" is more honest than "please buy stuff [we will never send it]"
on the other hand fuck this scammer

I saved up all 2023 to buy every My Chemical Romance album on vinyl for my birthday. I purchased them in AUGUST. Merchbar has not sent them, will not respond to me or tell me if I'll be refunded. My birthday is tomorrow and still not records and no refund. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM MERCHBAR.COM

I feel like I'm never going to get my records, or even a refund from Merchbar<.>com for the vinyl I ordered. Nobody ever responds to emails, and they certainly don't seem to actually send out merchandise. I can't be the only one? I know some people reached out after my last post. #merchbar #vinyl

Merchbar is such a piece of shit website. They are out of everything, but never tell you that until a month after you've ordered. They make you pay immediately. They do everything in their power to not give refunds. Pretty sure they just hold money gaining interest. #vinyl #merchbar

Lots of good vendors out there, I just keep reading people getting scammed by Merchbar saying they have stuff they are never gonna get, and then not issuing refunds.
