A little boy with a mermaid plushie identifies with a mermaid in captivity. Nighter the mermaid or boy has hair. The boy has a yellow ribbon pinned on his chest, that can be a symbol of sarcoma or bone cancer. The mermaid is in captivity, but still manages to smile at the little boy.
