Grief - May 2023 (unfinished)

[ #messyinklinesoc #originalcharacter]
An unfinished drawing of my original character Balias. He is laying on a field of flowers, crying. Grieving about his friends, about his fall. The fallen knight is remorseful. As the color blue surrounds him. Wearing broken armor picturing his failures

messyinklines OC Silver laying down on an ultramarine colored sheet. He smiles at the viewer almost like he is showing off. This is scrapped art for a fashion illustration. He wears a blue crop top with a heart window on the chest. Jeans with star designs and sneakers.

The messenger (unfinished ref)
November 2024

[ #messyinklinesoc #originalcharacter ]
Full body reference of my original character “the messenger” - a.k.a. Kei. The messenger holds a suitcase taped in yellow caution tape. A drawing to showcase most of his outfit as reference for future projects.

My silly boy

#messyinklinesoc
Colored portrait of messyinklines oc Elían. He is smiling while playing with his hair. The interface from procreate can be seen as it was a screenshot straight from the app. Elían again as he smiles staring directly at the viewer. A simple sketch as a test for his earrings design Chibi of Elían. He is smiling and playing with a strand of his hair. It’s drawn in black and white.

with some edits!

[ #messyinklinesoc #originalcharacter]
Portrait of my oc Balias. Made with lasso tool so the appearance is a bit more angular and somewhat geometric. He is looking directly at the viewer. This version is more polished with added shadows, his facial scars and more grey hairs. His left eye has a blue mark that shines within his iris. A mark that reflects his curse of immortality.

My ocs Elián and Carlo. Elián is kissing the other on the cheek as his hands rests on the man’s shoulders. His eyes are closed. Carlo is pleased with the affection. His smile gentle. Elian is sitting on his lap as Carlo rests his hand on his legs .

So far

#originalcharacter #messyinklinesoc
My original character Elián. It’s an unfinished portrait that is part of his reference sheet. Made as a guide for his features in a frontal view. He is smiling slightly as he looks to the side. Marking the dimples on his cheeks. An important view on his heterochromia without much of his hair covering it. Brown on the left and blue on the right. It’s a blue so light it looks white.

Some recent OC doodling

#messyinklinesoc
5 doodles on the same canvas. On the far left is one of my original characters, Elian standing up with his hands on his hips. Next to it to the right, is another one of him sitting down. On the middle is a simple portrait of Carlo, another OC. There’s also a drawing of both of them chatting, sitting next to each other as Elian has his hands all over him. A signal of their closeness. Last but not least, a simple portrait of Elian.

Acacia is an OC I loved designing and drawing. Her translucent parts just make her hard to draw all the time. So I have not drawn her since…

[ #messyinklinesoc #originalcharacter]
Acacia concept drawings. Face and back. Full body drawing of Acacia. Her long white hair floats around. She is in a sitting position, floating, with her hands to her chest. An exploration of her robotic parts and how her legs and arms are translucent and show her skeleton. Her color scheme only has 3 colors: white, red and gold. Her face is a plate she can remove.

Been coloring a doodle of Elían 🫶

#messyinklinesoc
Drawing of messyinklines oc Elían. He is standing, posing with his arms on his hips one is firmly placed while the other is relaxed over his jean pocket. He gazes at the viewer, one of his eyes obscured by his hair. Its loosely colored and hasn’t been rendered yet. Linework of the same drawing. Wanted to celebrate that I can finally make cleaner lineart.

More OC doodles as I try to get used to clip studio again

#messyinklinesoc
my OC Elián. The pose is drawn from a reference photo, he is sitting down resting his head on his hand. He is a bit hunched over. His expression is a bit tired and he seems to be pouting. My ocs Aliah and Liz. Both are smiling. They are pressing their heads together, a gentle touch. They place their hands together, only by their fingertips. Its cute and romantic.

Decided to redo his ref and here we are...

#messyinklinesoc
Drawing of my oc Elián. Is a portrait as he looks to the left side, a smirk on his face. In the act of twirling one of his hair strands, a display of his playful and teasing nature. Is part of his reference sheet and a closeup to his face on what is actually a fullbody of him. The clipstudio interface navigator on the left shows the full thing.

Collection of doodles and extra stuff i drew of them as assets or tests of their designs. Quick doodle of Luca and Sari. Sari is sitting on his shoulder as he holds her up almost like he is proudly showing her off. A test of their dynamic.

WIP

#messyinklinesoc
Work in progress featuring my oc Elián. With a prominent black background. He is placed on the middle. He is wearing an all black outfit, some pieces made of leather. Blue eye makeup with red lips. A bit inspired on vkei fashion. His white hair with black highlights covers his left eye. The composition is meant to work like a magazine page that explains his makeup, top, and shoes. Magenta scribbles can be seen, these are text placeholders. His stage name “Silver” is written on the bottom left.

Immortals - July 2024

[ #messyinklinesoc #originalcharacter ]
Artwork of two of my original characters related to the concept of immortality. One cursed and another with a synthetic body. On the left side is Balias. Wearing bright blue armor, he is a knight that’s been cursed to live forever. He rests his hand on the hilt of his sword. Curly brown hair falls on his face. Silently crying. In the right side is Acacia. A android who took independence from her motive. She appreciates all life that is and has been. Her big eyes adorned with golden eyelashes look at the viewer as her expression seems aloof or tranquil.

my silly romantics

#messyinklinesoc
My oc’s Elian and Carlo lying down. Carlo kisses the other man’s left hand. The hand wearing the ring he just gifted him. It is all in consolation towards someone who believes he doesn't deserve anything. Another drawing of the same thing. This time a focus on Carlo’s yearning gaze. Another drawing of the same thing, this time a closeup on Elian’s surprised face. He is caught off guard, yet is gentle.

oc expressions i drew when self doubt got too high 🫶

#messyinklinesoc
Collection of expressions of my oc Elián. From left to right: less of an expression and more a state. It's him without makeup (his eyes are rounder), next is his serious face, then a cheeky expression, after that is a more of annoyed/angry look, later his normal yet fake smile, one where he is laughing and last but not least, his genuine smile which is gentle. Drew them simply in a pink color.

That thing I been doing for 4 months but now with updates
#originalcharacter #messyinklinesoc
Part of Elian’s ref sheet. It's a close up on face to show in better detail his earrings, eyes and hair. Part of Elián's ref sheet. Full body drawing to show his taste in clothing and most commonly worn styles. So while its his standard outfit, it ends up being much more of a suggestion. Portrait to focus on his eyes together with an expression he would most commonly wear. His smile is never wide unless he feels comfortable enough with the person. And his eyes, a segmental heterochromia that is brown and blue on his left eye. But to us, its on the right side of the drawing.
