I have to differentiate. There used to be a Very Uncool Cassie on Bluesky, but she left to go spend more time with her Metoclopramide, breast pump, and smoothie maker. I think she was mad about leaving.

Thank fuck. Even my GP was like “hmmm, don’t use them unless you really have to” on the lowest possible oral dose of metoclopramide

Also, I didn't make it out yesterday to collect my metoclopramide prescription from Boots, so I get to do all this and also be the first adult to vomit in the ball pit at the soft play.

Nailed, was on metoclopramide, & ondansetron for a few days post Cisplatin alongside those bombastic steroids

I got lucky as well. The side effects throughout have been less than feared

Mentally I can handle fatigue/headaches but feeling nausea is the worst for me so those drugs were a godsend.

Oh, I'm so glad you didn't suffer with it. It was invented before modern anti-sickness drugs .... I'm gonna guess cyclizine, metoclopramide, and ondansetron they use now?

I'd be given steroids if I was in an adrenal crisis and ... whoomph. It's like them pouring water over a wilting plant, innit?

I find metoclopramide (reglan) works better for my migraine nausea, but they don't prescribe it as much as Zofran.

Oui, je lui ais déjà suggéré d'en parler à son médecin ou sf.

Je n'ai jamais eu a en prendre mais je savais que ça pouvait aider.

La metoclopramide aussi, mais je ne sais plus si c'est ok pour la grossesse.

So yeah I’m still having an insanely rough time and can’t eat more than plain bread but compared to not being able to hold down water, this is a relief 😭
