This is inaccurate. The max MFIP grant for a family of 3 in Minnesota is $778. This combines SNAP & MFIP as if it were MFIP. MN does issue SNAP & MFIP together. The overall situation is horrible & punitive, but MN isn't above average on this one.

I am confused about how the federal government is freezing child care funds. CCAP is part of the TANF Block Grant that is paid as a lump sum (block) annually to states & it pays for lots of stuff - MFIP, child care, work support, Pre-K, & more. It's not like SNAP that is a federal pass through.
