I am going to a 16mm show tonight at the microcinema and they're apparently showing a Canadian sex ed movie from the 70s & I am just as excited about seeing this as I am about catching PRIMETIME tomorrow.

It's a real thing. I've been aware of this dude since 2010 cause he opened the first microcinema in Philly, but it turns out he may have been a serial killer. It's a fascinating story but not for everyone.
Philly Inquirer write-up from 10/30/69 about R.C. Horsch's microcinema CINEMA 16, the first underground screening series in Philadelphia. It later turned into the ROXY THEATER which closed in 2021 due to the pandemic. 📽️
