My handwriting has changed since I started doing nervous system/emotional regulation practice (I use a spiral notebook for microjournaling) and it’s a wild visual reminder of what a different person I’d have been if I’d learned all this stuff as a kid.

I love the Finch app. Mood tracking, goal setting, microjournaling, and supporting friends.

If Twitter was microblogging, Bluesky is microjournaling.

I'm so tired that I failed to decode a brushy script typeface and thought there was an app called OnlyProust. I assumed it gave you microjournaling prompts. I assumed it tried to sell itself as enterprise software in the "mindfulness" space. I was annoyed by it.

We've been moots since we were both in double digits and if I haven't gone by now, I'm not going. I find your posts to be engaging, enraging, hilarious, precarious, cute af, and legit kind and sometimes mom-like. You're the whole package and I appreciate you and your microjournaling. Always will 🫶💗🫂

I don't know if you truly know but your microjournaling has helped so many of us, and inspired us to be our own advocates, our own peace. You and so many others are so brave to share and in different ways it heals the community. Thank you, em. Proud of you, and all of us.💙

I don't get a lot of interaction here, so I'm planning to use it as a microjournaling platform for myself. Kiddos are in their last year at home, and I'm trying to figure out who I'll be once I'm not a mom 24/7. Honestly, you probably don't want to hear any of that. I am not sad if you unfollow me.

Sunday Morning Micro-Journaling. Ask: What is the one thing I must accomplish this week to feel successful? The rest is just details. Define that target today, and you define your energy for Monday. It is actionable wellness.

Biohack Your Happiness: The "Dopamine Menu" & 5 Minute Brain Reset
Let’s be honest: your brain isn’t wired for happiness—it’s wired for survival. That’s why you can have a great day but still lie awake at night obsessing over that one awkward thing you said three years ago. But what if you could manually override your factory settings? What if the "secret" to happiness isn't a new car or a vacation, but a few biological cheat codes you can do in your pajamas?  In this episode, we are ditching the toxic positivity and diving straight into the biology of feeling good. We aren't talking about vague "self-care"; we are talking about hard data. We explore how to hack your circadian rhythm before you even have your morning coffee and why micro-journaling might be the only way to stop your brain's natural negativity bias from running the show. We break down the science of the post-meal walk (it’s not just for digestion—it’s for your brain) and introduce you to the concept of a "Dopamine Menu"—a revolutionary way to stop doom-scrolling and start actually enjoying your life. From using controlled breathing to crush stress in 30 seconds to the psychological trick of using names to deepen social connections, these are the minimalistic lifestyle habits that actually move the needle. In this actionable and science-backed episode, you will learn: - How to fix your sleep: Why getting morning sunlight is the most underrated productivity tool. - How to manage stress instantly: Using breathwork and physiological sighs to lower cortisol and blood sugar. - How to rewire your brain: Practical steps for brain retraining to shift from anxiety to emotional stability. - What is a Dopamine Menu? How to curate healthy activities that give you sustainable energy instead of a crash. Stop waiting for happiness to find you. It’s time to retrain your brain, regulate your hormones, and take control of your chemistry. These are the small, incremental changes that lead to massive mental clarity. 👇 Ready to upgrade your operating system? If you found value in these hacks, hit that SUBSCRIBE button so you never miss an episode. Share this with a friend who needs a dopamine boost, and leave us a 5-star review—it helps us rank higher and keep bringing you the best mental performance strategies for free!

You do realize that's how microblogging in the twitter format started, right? It's microjournaling.

Congrats and welcome to the fundamentals of a microblogging social media site.

Okay, I've only been using the VTuber part in the hashtag. I didn't realize there was a full one for both.
But yeah, I love picking up this trend too. It keeps me in touch with people, givens them some insight into how things are behind the scenes, and it's fun microjournaling.

Replacing scrolling with microjournaling:

"Microjournaling is exactly what it sounds like. Instead of setting aside 15 minutes to write in your journal, you’re going to shrink that to a minute or two. A microjournaling session could even last under 60 seconds. It’s just enough time to dash off […]
