The Ks photometry is interesting because of the deep methane absorption at 2.3 microns, I'm not sure about the z-band analysis. I don't know much of methane absorption there. I think it's the 2.3 microns that's saying there isn't much methane or at least there isn't as big of a drop as Eris/Makemake

Precursor of bouncing a tachyon pulse off the main deflector. I still remember things being described as being four microns away in space opera. It would be embedded in the hull!

We find that dinoflagellates (~10-20 μm) can travel up to hundreds of microns inside the worm at speeds on the order of 1 μm/s, and they can readily switch directions. (2/7)

Day 1: Canyon

Beyond the walls of the enclosure, beings beyond measure stride through halls of tile, glancing at placards. One such placard reads:

"Desert biome, agrarian lifestyle. Inhabitant size: Roughly 10 microns. Please do NOT touch the glass."

i still like microns and dip pens with thin nibs for Veery specific things, but being able to refill fude nib pens with a cartridge converter [or use fude nib dip pens with random inks] is like. Great. love the line variety...!!

Good question from Jonathan on my BAAJA modeling.

Fine particulates under 2.5 microns in diameter (PM2.5) and ozone. The mortality estimates in the two papers I draw on don't consider other air pollutants, so they (and I) likely underestimate mortality attributable to fossil fuel use.
What pollutants are in your mortality estimates?
