rewatch of MID90S was emotional. Nostalgia for a time I lived through (though the POV is younger and v. different from my own), and the accuracy of male friend-group dynamics and the acknowledgement that my own kids experience variations of the same made me a little weepy

I meannnn Michigan and Minnesota may be the exceptions lol we lived in Danville, IL in the mid90s and it was so white European there then we couldn’t buy SHIT we cooked there. Tortillas, pita, hummus, chick peas, cumin, masa harina, tahini, cilantro, marjoram, so many things impossible locally

なつきちさんと『mid90s』観た！雰囲気良な映画だった！🛹♡
良い意味でも悪い意味でも時代を感じる映画だね…。あの頃そのまま、みたいな
登場人物のレイの着てたTシャツの柄が女性のトイレマークが水色になってるやつで、二人で良いTシャツ着てんじゃんと言い合えた時に、映画を人と観るのってやっぱいいな〜と思った🐶
なんかこういう、観たいな〜とは思っててリストにもずっとあって頭の片隅にタイトルもよく浮かんでくるのに、いざ！となると腰が重くなってしまう作品が一定数あり、それを一緒に消化出来てる感じありうれしい
その後の雑談も楽しかった！合わなさのある作品の話って面白い
