#Ceramic moon jar with bat, ^5. Jar is Azabache black, thrown, and lined with a black glaze. Bat is Sybil's Midfire with ruby eyes, handbuilt, and has a Stroke and Coat wash.

There are reasons S&C glazes are used in K-12 schools:
-the containers don’t lost moisture like wide-mouth jars and easy to ration
-very, very stable at low and midfire temps
-lots and lots of color choices
-inexpensive

Like I’m struggling to find the positive right now even though none of this detail shit matters (practically/safety/confidence), but at least the amaco clear seems to work with the laguna midfire porcelain so that opens a path to our underglaze designs despite raising our material cost like 185% 🫠

Might just keep this bowl. Its cool that the porcelain allows for very fine trimming, but its so thin I’d worry about durability for functional ware as far as selling it

Wheel thrown, midfire stoneware (I was away for 3 weeks during which my bowl got accidentally pushed - which expains the uneven circle; by the time I got back it was too dry to trim on the wheel so I spryed and trimmed manually).

- Splatling: charge required, but it's a sustained DEATH RAY of droplets which kill in like .1 or .2 sec.
- Midfire charging: Enemy got too close? Too bad! This thing has no downtime.
- Charge hold: because why not?
- Triple Splashdown: because fuck you and your 20 frame startup!
This thing SUCKS.
