Pretty nice for generating polyrhythms. Also the author has a nice voice in his video presentation ! No concept of scale - much simpler than a Midicake, but 25 times cheaper.

I've spent most of the last few years making music in the box. I have no problem with that - I'm comfortable there, I'm still learning new stuff in Ableton & I'll carry on.
But I want to do *something* with my small collection of hardware.

Excuse the shonky video - but this shows the Midicake ARP connected to the 3x8, which in turn has the Moog M32 and the KArp Odyssey hooked up.
Silly default patterns and rubbish phone sound recording, but this is going to work just how I wanted Better vid once I have more MIDI cables 😉

I’ve got a widget called a Midicake ARP that does *wizardry* with arpeggios.
Feed it into a tiny Korg NTS-1 with the cathedral reverb at 11, and then poke at it every so often when I remember I can move the root chord.

The Fishman TriplePlay Pickup into the Midicake Arp is where most of the magic is happening here, as that setup enables me to both play the Reface CP and trigger arps in the Fred's Lab Tooro for texture. Microcosm and Onward are just extra fun
