One thing I did notice is that while my 14yo does favor bare midriffs, short skirts, etc. they also combine this with spiked belts and bracelets that say "don't touch, this display is for ME ONLY" and that weirdly encourages me.
I never, ever tell them how to dress. That is stifling and unhelpful.

as far as new fire emblem games i would be inclined to cosplay if i got back into it, most of the girls i like (especially the ones closer to my own skintone) have outfits that are far too revealing for me and my own issues. This game is really into bare midriffs
