A predicted high demand for electricity usage on Thursday is the reason for the alert.
$14.1 million grant funds high-speed internet projects for rural Minnesota communities, benefiting over 2,000 people, businesses and farms.
$14.1 million MiEnergy grant aims to bring fiber to Fillmore and Winona counties
255 people, 55 businesses, and 235 farms in Fillmore and Winona County are going to benefit soon from a $14.1 million grant from the MiEnergy Cooperation.
