Ringing is going ahead at South Landing this morning with reduced numbers of nets but may finish earlier than 12pm if wind increases

Delighted to be kicking off the migweek festivities with the guided walk tomorrow. It's going to be a stiff wind but we shall see what we can rustle up. #birding

Sadly the weather is taking its toll on events.
Guided walk (for those booked on it) is taking place, 10am at the lighthouse.
Ringing at South Landing will be assessed in the morning.
Ringing at RSPB Bempton is cancelled tomorrow but will take place Sunday.

Nets are going up at South Landing, if visiting the ringing please park in the pay and display car park not along the road verges as it’s a £50 fine if you do and may block access to the lifeboat station in an emergency.
