Do we really want defence at the expense of welfare, as Badenoch suggests ? Do we really want to turn the UK into a militocracy like that in the United States ? Do we really want endless war ? The politicians everywhere want you to believe that WAR equals PEACE. That`s a lie.

Russia's are called just the Oligarchs (Except they aren't ruling class, Putin's rise changed that.)
The true ruling class of Russia is the "Siloviki" or strongmen, ex-KGB, essentially military. Russia is a "militocracy" with administrative characteristics.

As someone who lived through portions of two martial laws and the ongoing militocracy in Pakistan, the last thing I want is for the US military to get so fed up with Trump that they remove him (once they get a taste of political power democracy is in danger in my experience).
