This is the mince pie for the aficionado! A sweet mincemeat pie with lashings of lamb. Of all that I have tried, its my favourite mincemeat.

It's #mincepieday and to celebrate I had 2 for breakfast. These are c.1700 style and filled with lamb mince meat (recipe coming soon).

FYI: The best mincemeat I've ever made is Jane Grigson's orange mincemeat. Recipe here:
