Our 1st dog was a mini Aussie who turned out to be a rather medium Aussie of 40 lb. Perfect for our energy levels when we got him, was a senior dog when we eventually had a baby; perfect retirement job.
Today, keeping up w/ an 8-yr-old, we definitely couldn't handle another shepherd/working breed.
