Eine meiner liebsten Sachen auf der Welt ist wenn bei Repotagen und Interviews aus dem Set rausgefahren wird und mit einer Handkamera der Minidisplay der stehenden Kamera gefilmt wird und man alles sieht wie vorher aber anders ich hoffe die Person die das Erfunden hat ist super reich und glücklich

I gotta redo the upper case, but that is a working battery powered Raspberry Pi AR driven cyberdeck with 16GB of RAM and about 9900mAh of portable power. Ugly but it works perfectly well. Gotta rework the top for the minidisplay, but whatever. It works.

I FINALLY found a minidisplay port to HDMi I can use so it seems all is good. I am gonna return both of these things I bought and get an adapter that is designed for the surface and fits neatly with extra usb slots

Nein, is tatsächlich nur Dymo. Is ganz cool das Teil, Bedienung über ne App und Bluetooth. Ich habe die Teile mit dem Minidisplay immer gehasst, ne unendliche Frickelei, die Bedienung....

Ich sitze ja auch nur am Rechner, wenn ich online gehe. Übers iPhone nur unterwegs im Notfall. Dieses Minidisplay nervt mich, und außerdem würde ich da auch über Firefox Klar reingehen, nie die App draufladen.

Coole Idee, aber schwierig, ne? Im Original benötigen die eine Glühbirne mit viel Wärmeabstrahlung. Da müsste man für Solar die Nachbarparzellen mitmieten. 'Künstlich' mit Minidisplay ginge... Oder Matmos mit Kerze. Weiß nicht, wie die sich bei Frost verhalten. Wünsche sollten erfüllt werden.🤩

Well, foo. XRLinux does not work through the chain that goes MiniDisplay ➔ HDMI ➔ USB-C, so no virtual desktops for me, at least not on this laptop.

I'm wondering if the dongle I got is for a minidisplay port, but doesn't have the Thunderbolt 2 protocol (seeing as the connector is identical, but the capabilities are different), which may prevent visuals being sent to the HDMI cable. Well, that's my current working theory, anyway.

I forgot to mention, huge kudos to the Wayland team for fully (finally) supporting Rokid AR glasses out of the box, even through my many MiniDisplay ➔ HDMI ➔ USB-C connectors. It wasn't so stable three years ago.
