It wasn't supposed to be like this. She was not supposed to feel rough ropes coiling up her arms as her bones mash together to accommodate the tight pull of her now useless limbs against her back. It was supposed to be dancing and eating and whatever else the Gods — whatever Hydaelyn - deemed her worthy of. As she nearly trips on the hem of her gown, she cries a muted sob of fat tears that find refuge in the seams of her pursed lips. She thinks herself a food for imagining Hydaelyn or any other divinity would want anything else but this for her. Stripped of the one thing that mattered — the thing that made her her — by the Father of Dragons, she should have known better as to what this is and what she is to them. Deep down she knows it doesn't truly matter if she holds Hydaelyn's blessing anymore. Having it or not doesn't matter, not in a situation like this. What matters is what people believe and what they consider to be a person worthy of such a blessing. As the doors open to a crowd — silenced by the thump of her body being thrown to the floor — she finds she is painfully right. In this moment, blessing of light or not, she is the villain of a story not her own. No amount of previous good-doings will ever circumvent that which is true to the majority in this exact moment. Her eyes struggle to find friends in the busy room. People of all sorts stare back at her, yet there is no kindness. Not any that make a difference. Not any she can feel. Most distinctly, not any kindness that she feels Hydaelyn — the one that she was told loved her more than any other - believes she deserves.

me: “i dont pose amarinaud all that often!”

also me, looking at the minicactpot gpose hall of fame: “okay so all i pose is amarinaud.”

[ #💫 ]
a vertical gpose of amaris (a midlander teen girl) and alphinaud at the sanctum of the twelve. amaris is on a half wall walking with a parasol smiling down and alphinaud while his hand is on the half walk, looking up at her with a smile a horizontal gpose of sineater amaris (originally a midlander teenage girl). she is holding a limp alphinaud in her hands as she looks at him with a deranged smile on her face. the rest of the scions are limp on the ground in the background behind her a horizontal gpose of amaris (a midlander teen girl) going down the moonfire faire water slides. alphinaud’s hands are around her middle, a bit nervous, as amaris has her arms wide open with a smile a horizontal gpose of amaris (a now adult midlander woman) with a fanon adult alphinaud design. they are holding each other close forehead to forehead while they sit on a bench together
