Back when small lcd screens kind of sucked, this wasn’t ideal, but nowadays they are much better. Your phone is a good example of a mirrorless camera. But many people still refer to interchangeable lens mirrorless cameras as “DSLRs.”

this is part of why I don't love the cheap novelty digital camera trend. the kodak charmera is cute and fun, all its imitators are basically producing e-waste. it's never been a better time to get a cheap mirrorless interchangeable lens camera in FF, APS-C, or M43

yeah, looks like this is a case for a panorama, or a mirrorless with a super wide angle. But if a phone is the only camera you have, you do what Don did...
It is impossible to give a sense of the scale of the 33 meter Catrina in the Plaza de la Constitución using your phone and from the ground, but here is my best effort.
