The "spooky Makuta whispers" described in the story bible made it into the film as some of Makuta's signature audio cues. (Also, I now realize that Miramax sounds like a Makuta name that could fit in well with the likes of Teridax, Tridax, Miserix or Chirox.)

The final obstacle to my Makuta designs has finally been overcome - designing a proper Mask of Mutation that suits my take on Makuta Miserix 🙌
Now I just gotta sit down and actually finish drawing their designs. After that you gonna get my 'pre-mutated Barraki' designs!

I finished getting parts for a bunch of 2005 combos (they suck), as well as some from 2001 (they rule) and particularly cool the 08 Niazesk. But also added a few fan models, the most impressive of which is the maaassive Miserix!

24. Why do most Bionicle fans sleep on Miserix I don't get it? He's easily one of the more interesting characters in the series, and has a geniunely compelling tragic downfall from a fierce yet devoted leader to a rampaging shell of his former shell.

now, though, the barraki aren't being given this weight and importance in their backstories that just doesn't really track to how theyre presented in the story, and instead that weight is actually being reflected by characters like tuyet and miserix who ARE that big of a deal

based on the Phantoka and Mistika, I imagine MOST Makuta are roughly Toa sized by default, maybe a tad bigger

having miserix be present would be a really big deal for teridax. it might be a weird indulgent inclusion but tbh it makes more sense for the mutation prisoner to show up in the mutation prison more than like. karzahni. i think having him would make for some interesting temporary alliances tho
