There are very few things in the world that make you aware of just how disgusting the human body and biological embodiment is than editing a podcast with good headphones on so you *really hear* every little sinus click, every bit of spittle in the mouth, every slightly rattly breath.

I have been informed by many people today that my issues with sounds are called “misphonia.”
I have like, the inverse reaction to ASMR. If I accidentally catch an ASMR video like in a friend’s insta story, all the whispering and clicking actually makes me feel queasy.
