A year after repealing SFH-only exclusionary zoning, Edmonton has seen #MissingMiddleHousing (2-8 unit) permits increase 150%.
But because those new units are spread across the city, it isn't "bulldozing" anywhere; at this pace, it'll be decades before a typical block sees even one redevelopment.

New market-rate #MissingMiddleHousing options will entice more house-rich seniors to downsize, putting more large, used houses on the market for families.
