My buddy just purchased this #Depancel Autosport. Though it looks like a chronograph the subdials are really day and month indicators. Miyota 9122. 50m resistance. Great looks. $750.

Pour mon anniversaire, je me suis offert la Lip CDG automatique 35mm (voir ci-dessous).
J'indique à @henrikpeterson.bsky.social que le mouvement Miyota 8215, bien que rustique, remplit parfaitement son office (dérive de 10 sec/jour en 48 heures de port, je pense pouvoir mieux l'équilibrer encore).

Interesting that Addiesdive (a Chinese watch brand that has traditionally sold overseas on AliExpress) is now in Wal-Mart. These are pretty good watches for the money. They use the bottom-of-the-line Japanese Miyota 8215 automatic movement, still a reliable workhorse.

New to me #Mezei Watch Company. Great looking dials with nice dimensions and cool engraving on the back and sides. Miyota 8215 is dependable. At about $500 this seems like a solid buy especially for a little more on the Milanese bracelet.

Since Miyota developed the Caliber 9075 movement there are now a bunch of *relatively* affordable "traveler" GMTs.
Also Seiko still has a bunch of "caller" GMTs that are pretty nice.

#Timex has an "America 250" Collection up and ready for July 4. The Marlin Jet Automatic America for $329 is the one I'd pick; Miyota 8215 and hesalite crystal for that vintage vibe (you can buff out the scratches later). Like the Waterbury desk clock too.

They managed to catch attention with the aesthetic and refined detailing. 2 releases, 130 watches each style, completely sold out. Miyota caliber 9039 movement, 38mm case, $690. Can't even find them on the secondary market, REALL nice, would love to get one but probably not gonna happen.
