I may not have been super keen on MKTour a couple years back, but I stora regret not playing it enough after I reinstalled it even if I'm not exactly into mobile games nowadays. 😔

I think it is likely that they will decide to rescue absolutely everything from Mario Kart Tour and add it to World for free, knowing that MKWorld drinks from many things that MKTour had, and if they want to put things outside the Mario universe, I already see it as a paid DLC for the Nintendo Kart

I really love most of the IRL city-inspired tracks they lifted from MKTour.
And I'm bummed that even if MKWorld does get a ton of DLC (I'm guessing maybe an entire second "world" of tracks) it likely won't include any IRL city tracks, because how would you integrate them into a world map?

The tour remake of Bowser's castle 4 especially should be talked about a lot more. we should have gotten this in the booster course pass imo, this is too good of a reimagining to be stuck in a mobile game

my partner and i came to the conclusion that the reason mio is so bad at mkwii is bc as a raging mobile gamer shes too used to mktour and its heavy assisted steering so the unforgiving nature of wii threw her off
