MKW gives me the same feeling Minecraft does. Big open world that's got lonely vibes. Also so much jazz music.

bandori, mk8dx, and minecraft are all likely to stay just because of the impact and longevity they've had. mkw might also stick around.

Like for example Minecraft is the common chill game for #compsplatoon teams and honestly I don't see how it could be fun. Mario kart is a great option but I don't have MKW and there are almost too many switch mario parties that every1 ends up with 1 having SMP/Superstars/Jamboree only 4/5

Sonic Racing got snubbed...
You had SpongeBob SquarePants and Steve and Alex from Minecraft, and you lost to honestly one of the most mid Mario Kart games to come out. (I will change my opinion on MKW when they add the models from the Wii U/Switch 1 era into it)

A minecraft movie being Nominated for best adaptation should be proof enought The Game Awards have even less value than the Grammys, gatting a game award should be considered a shame.
Also the fucking MKW ost Snub, I can't, it was a miracle last year the music category wasn't dogshit.

i cannot comment on hollow knight or silksong, never played em, but mkw fails this. and really, most other games that succeed without a checklist have complex enough mechanics that let the players come up with their own goals instead, like minecraft or botw

I was a little worried that me Minecraft version of N64 Kalimari Desert wouldn't fit in with its theme (which goes for a more desolate yet peaceful vibe)
And sure, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC kinda spiced it up a bit but still not enough
In comes this PERFECT fit!!! Thx MKW

Mario Kart World never topped the eshop charts and was beat by Deltarune and Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour. Behind MKW are Minecraft and No Man's Sky.

If MKW doesn’t win best soundtrack I’m going to steal Geoff Kieghly’s diamonds in Minecraft.

I to be honest want the friendship of Mario and Sonic to continue but it is really heated up now. First Miku then MINECRAFT and mind you MARIOKART WORLD ISN'T EVEN FULLY COMPLETE YET! SEGA really is making use of Switch 1 now too hence MKW is an exclusive for Switch 2 ONLY.

I think it's official that this game will be better than Mario Kart World tbh and I love MKW but the fact you can play as them AND STEVE FROM MINECRAFT is fucking amazing hilarious at the same time 😭😭

My problem with any sort of boycott, especially reasonable boycotts is that there's always going to be the other side that doesn't care about what you're trying to do.
It already happened with Roblox and Minecraft in the result of nothing happening, Nintendo's going to be no different with MKW.
