Flight will be the same size as Red Green Blue, in both hardcover & paperback (11x8.25 and 7x10, respectively)
I was worried about the size at first, but now I just think it's fun, & it lets me see the art better (in & on the book) 💖

Mmmbook

i listened to a couple breeders albums and now i'm listening to belly 😊 i will NOT edit mmmbook to mention them (yet).

while i was in the final stretch of mmmbook edits and convinced i would never finish (a horrible but essential part of the process), i came up with two book ideas (because of course i did): a stoner romcom (lol) and a celebrity comeback story (whut). please won’t someone save me from my brain.

i feel like i have to, because i name-checked her in mmmbook (also i want to).

my husband read mmmbook and he caught a non-mmmbop hanson reference 🥰

i have just realized that my character voices are differentiated in part by their punctuation. jessica in mmmbook uses a variety, heavy on semicolons. maggie in my new one relies on ellipses. juniper in my temporarily shelved second-chance romance loved an em dash—i think there are 350 in the draft.

i am at the point in editing mmmbook where i’ve done the big edits and i’ve done the smaller edits and i’m shocked to be this far along because planning those edits took about a million years and executing them took like five minutes (this may be an exaggeration).

i have edited half a chapter of mmmbook, left a message with a doctor i was supposed to call last week, opened (but not touched) my copy editing job, checked the bank six times (still no money), petted the cats approx. 1 million times, texted my mom, written half a newsletter, caught up on discord,

how the fuck have i been typing "mmmbop book" for the last ten months when "mmmbook" was right there?
