Wildfire smoke has settled across much of Minnesota, leaving people to deal with sweltering heat and humidity as they also struggle to breathe the air. A new state record was set for wildfire smoke concentration was set, advisories were put out to wear an N95 mask when leaving your home. The climate crisis is changing how we live. Adapting to our new way of life takes money. Right now, Minnesotans are left to pick up the tab, as fossil fuel companies make record profits. It’s not right, and it doesn’t have to be this way. We can pass a Climate Superfund and hold Big Oil accountable for the damage they’ve caused. We can use that money to help all Minnesotans breathe a little easier.View all comments
