The Illinois ban on hemp-based THC products being sold anywhere but dispensaries starts Nov. 12 and the federal ban in December. I’ll soon be without easy access to seltzers. It’ll be interesting to see the impact on bars and patrons who don’t drink and don’t like mocktails losing that option.

We typically get tons of kids on Halloween. I always run out of treats no matter how much I buy. (Some kids come twice). This year, I got a box of full size chocolate bars to bring out later in the evening for the teenagers. Be nice to the teenagers, they missed a few Halloweens during the pandemic.
