This was hard. I really tried to focus on games that were a root to what I like, but couldn't squeeze em all.

ok so there is a project but the only game that was fully decompiled was highly responsive to prayers with the whole project sitting at 64.35% altho the last update was in january. hope the project doesn't get scrapped altogether, what i'd give for a fully moddable port of mystic square lol

Hey there. The original three dragon's stories will remain in an entirely male state- Hopefully with some extra TLCI Any playable female content will be optional. We're eager
to allow any kind of person- Gay, straight, bi, pan, to play the game the way they want to.

RIP Halo. I didn't have much hope for the series after 343 fumbled it due to their comically bad level of mismanagement of Infinite and their refusal to learn anything after their rebranding. At least the old games are moddable on PC.

i get why the true xcom streamer doom murderheads don't like these IP-based tactics games, though. they're never moddable and they're rarely if ever replayable; this, the marvel xcom, the gears xcom, all of these are Story Based Experiences with correct routes/choices and little flexibility

That's part of what makes something "retro" to me. Though, I was playing the CoDWAW, CoD2, CoD4 campaigns and I thought - I can tell these are sorta? retro even though they in a very real way created AAA of today. They're so...matter of fact, you might say? Also up to CoDWAW CoD was moddable on PC.

I think I’m gunna just accept that emulation is better than recomp projects for the foreseeable future. Too much mess with vibecoders and drama. Emulation is great and moddable just fine. Let’s start putting those PC features in emulator plugins.

New Fallout 76 season is off to a decent start: unique weapons are freely moddable with legendary effects and most, if not all, come with unique effects, finally.
And any you've been keeping in your storage box has been updated to the new system too so that's awesome!
