Police are investigating the possible source of drugs in the death of Presley Gerber, the 27-year-old model and son of supermodel Cindy Crawford, who died of an apparent overdose while staying at a luxury outpatient rehabilitation facility in Santa Monica. According to dispatch calls, Gerber suffered a cardiac arrest and was reported to have overdosed at Resolutions Living, a $7.7-million, seven-bedroom mansion operating as a rehabilitation home. Officers responded to the facility around 9:35 a.m. on Sunday, and paramedics pronounced him dead at 9:45 a.m. Gerber had checked into the facility just hours before, around 10 p.m. Saturday. The Los Angeles County medical examiner's office stated that the autopsy was performed but the cause and manner of death have been deferred due to ongoing testing and studies. Police have stated there is no indication of foul play, but they are investigating the apparent overdose, attempting to track where and whom the drugs came from.
