While I have no desktop it gave me time to test out other locomotives on layout. Unfortunately as cool as the big boy is my curves are too tight for it. So I've gotta replace them. Until I have money for that it's gonna just set in the box.

Two months ago i received this SD40-2 that had seen better days. Now it's nearly done with repairs and touch up painting. Next will be a new horn and then it will be all finished!

New addition to the VVRR. This SD40-2 From conrail will be the new backwork horse in the future on the layout. It needs some work but soon it'll be pulled long freight for the Virtual Valley Railroad!

Surprisingly, a #modelrailroader spends less time accurately describing the parts than carefully installing one. Which makes diagnosing an electrical issue difficult. Inaccurate nomenclature just doesn't help. #modelrailway #modelrailroad

The gravel lot around the switch tower is finished! The next steps are to fill the empty areas around the gravel with grass and then wire up the light inside the tower.
