Custom highlights for FFXIV hair:
- grab the red channel from the mask texture
- level until its defined, but textures are smooth
- create gradient layer you normally would for highlights, but inverted so black is the highlight area
- layer it on top and set to Subtract

I'll say One Thing on the modguide bit and leave it, I got other things to do/think about -
*None of this would be a problem* if they were honest about their product labeling, but I guess coaching services doesn't get eyes. Selling that as a guide? The community's gotten onto others' cases for less
